Nature never wastes resources. Neither should your IT.
Hedera Technology is a software company, founded in 2009 by Antoine and Jérémie. They met while working together in a start-up abroad in Senegal (Africa) where they shared the same passion for innovative technologies and respect for nature and sustainable local development. Their common vision: improve how IT is run and stop wasting IT resources.
When they returned to France, they gathered innovative and creative people who see work as a challenge and took on their idea: create Kanopya to optimize existing IT infrastructure.
Successful Fundraising & Cloud Ecosystem
Thanks to its partners support and trust, Hedera Technology successfully raised funds in June 2011 to continue to broaden Private Cloud’s perspective in France. With the goal of doubling its workforce and tripling its turnover in 2012, the next fundraiser should propel Hedera Technology on the European market, then the American to meet a demand that will weigh more than 1.8 billion euros in 2015.

Jérémie Bourdoncle, Co-founder and CEO
Jérémie is a start-up funding expert (has created several start-ups already and is the CEO of NoRack) with 7 years of experience in information system's management for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. Prior to Hedera Technology, he was the COO at Manobi Senegal. Jérémie holds a Masters in engineering from Telecom ParisTech, Pierre et Marie Curie University (Paris VI). After sharing Teddy Riners tatami, he dreams now to challenge the masters of the Kodokan in Tokyo.

Antoine Castaing, Co-founder and CTO
Antoine is an expert in security—used to work within the cells of major financial institutions--, open source, architecture systems and networks with 6 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies, such as BNP ParisBas. Prior to Hedera Technology, he was the Chief IT Officer for a consulting firm in Africa and an IT Security Officer for Oberthur Card Systems. Antoine holds a Masters in Computer Science from Epita (Ecole pour Informatique et les Techniques Avancées) and he enjoys working to make your cloud as secured as a safe. Antoine loves French food, Italian coffee and traveling abroad to meet the local native people.

Emmanuel Dubois, Associate and COO
Associate and COO (42 years old) Key Account Director in Bea systems and Oracle, Emmanuel leaded complex business operations included many multi millions dollar deals on an European basis. He contributed to disseminate and achieve market penetration with innovation and high technology among some large French companies. Wine taster and collector; he enjoys running, he would like to achieve the Medoc Marathon handling a glass of Pauillac.

Geraldine Cabannes, Marketing Director
Geraldine is a marketing expert with 15 years of experience in software start-up management, software development and marketing surveys with companies like INRIA, Autodesk (Realviz), REOSS, Meggitt Plc. Former founder and Sales & Marketing Director at ActiveEon, today Geraldine oversees marketing strategy and social media at Hedera Technology and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the IAE Nice & BA in English and Communications. A peace of Nature (woods) can be found in Montreuil - Paris, Geraldine cycles to work daily (except under rain). It’s the greatest going-to-work workout: it’s great for the environment, good exercise and a good way to save money.
Investors
Hedera Technology is seeking a round of private capital. Founded just about three years ago, Hedera Technology is a revenue start-up from its very first year, with several fortune 500 clients in Europe. We expect to close this round at the end of July.
